Saving the royal warship Vasa
50 years after being raised from the bottom of Stockholm's harbor – Vasa – one of Sweden's most popular attractions, is being rescued again. This time, by a team of metallurgy experts from Sandvik and engineers from the Vasa Museum.
To preserve this international treasure for future generations, a decision was made to replace each one of its 5,500 bolts. The question was – with what?
