Sandvik flat bed cutting rules are characterized by their tight tolerances, which give a consistent product that enables repeatability from batch to batch on automated processing and bending machines.
Dieflex was the world's first edge hardened cutting rule that combined the two contradictory requirements of good bendability and high wear resistance.

| Dieflex 52 | The original 52° Dieflex is the most commonly used rule with its ideal combination of hardness and flexibility. |
| Dieflex 42 | All the benefits of the original 52° but the 42° angle requires less cutting pressure, gives a longer cutting life and reduces slivers and dust. |
