Sandvik Materials Technology is a developer and producer of advanced stainless steels, special alloys, titanium and other high-performance materials

Sandvik 430 (Plate and sheet)

Datasheet updated 2012-08-03 09:36:07 (supersedes all previous editions)

Sandvik 430 is a ferritic stainless steel with minimum 16% chromium. Due to its ferritic structure Sandvik 430 has a lower tensile strength, elongation and impact resistance than the austentic stainless steels. The proof strength is somewhat higher.
